"MarBorg Industries owns and operates a revolutionary Construction and Demolition (C&D) Recycling and Transfer Facility located in the heart of Santa Barbara. This facility opened its doors in 2005 and is permitted to process 1,250 tons (2,500,000 lbs) of material per day. The C&D Facility had 230,000 tons of material pass through its doors in 2017. Nearly 190,000 tons of this material was processed or sorted, resulting in almost 125,000 tons of material being diverted from the landfill. This C&D facility occupies over 100,000 square feet, is open to the public as well as commercial haulers."

Very surreal atmosphere. Very interesting. Would make a great movie set. I would definitely recommend visiting it.

Company constantly ignores city laws by showing up every day in a mostly residential area with One business before 7am there is no need to go to the same dumpster every day. They are disturbing the peace. City law states that garbage trucks are not allowed to start until after 7am. It is a noise ordinance they chose to ignore.

I have used the transfer station several times each year to drop off heavy or bulky items. everyone is very helpful and the process is easy and quick.
