"Convenience Centers are Knox County owned self-service residential waste and recycling drop-off facilities that accept less than one small pickup truck bed (5x8) load of waste per day. There are no user fees but only residents from Knox County can bring their own wastes. Businesses are not allowed to dump their waste and will be redirected to a paid disposal facilities. Residents with Household Hazardous Waste, such as oil based paints, solvents, rechargeable batteries, chemicals, etc, will be redirected to a Household Hazardous Waste Facility on 1033 Elm Street."

Easy in and out. Easy to maneuver if using a mobility device. Helpful staff. Great place to dispose of trash and great place to recycle. You can also dispose of tires, appliances, pa into, carpet and other items sat this center. Takes bulk waste, household waste, Styrofoam, cardboard, etc.

The staff are ALWAYS keeping the place clean and organized along with being friendly. If you are an elderly person needing a hand, usually someone will be glad to help you. Great job guys!

Nothing but a lot of TRASH here.. Heh heh :) And some nice workers. Good thing to keep in mind is the workers are not there to unload your trash for you. You could ask, but they are firmly within their right of telling you no. Either bring someone with you to help or pay someone to take your trash.
